The challenge
Creating a full-blown golf course in a disused warehouse in under 3 weeks, without any real plans or drawings is a huge challenge, but then adding in a high profile late-night cocktail bar and restaurant as well requires an exceptional set of contractors and coordination.
The solution
C3 were brought in to design and install a high-quality intelligent and fully automated sound and lighting system, as well as full power distribution across the site. Our project manager mobilised a core team of electricians, lighting designers and sound engineers who then worked tirelessly up to the launch date, battling with issues as they arose and training the in-house staff during the busy first week of trading to ensure the project was delivered on time.

Despite the limited operating period of the venue, a professional club sound and lighting system was design and installed based on roughly sketched floor plans. The choice of lightweight and LED fixtures enabled a careful balance between cutting edge technology and ease of use. Our project manager coordinated with the bar contractors, kitchen and structural installation teams to ensure each area was provided the correct resources, and also that changes were relayed amongst all contractors quickly and decisively. The ability to handle changes in brief and deal with unexpected issues during the build ensured the venue was fully operational by the launch date. C3 continue to support the venue with ongoing maintenance and technical requirements for special events and private hires.
Their flexibility in solving problems with the venue meant we could be confident in setting an opening date and focus on the marketing.
