Case Study

C3 was contracted to deliver the audio element of a fully immersive virtual reality simulation. The brief was to create a versatile 8.4 surround audio system that as well as covering the entire space evenly the system would allow full control of its acoustic parameters set by the software/app created by the technical team.

Whilst working closely with the head of sound design from the Gaianova production team for several weeks there were points of intense head scratching, redesigns, CAD drawings and Sketchup suggestions to make sure we were able to fit within the set build, video and lighting locations. There was a substantial amount of communication between all teams to ensure the installation would be as successful as imagined.

The installation toured in different locations around the country. On several occasions we were asked to substitute equipment to acommodate design changes to the construction of the project. Our operations team were able to deliver at short notices, due to the close customer relationship we had developed with the client and the versatility of our technicians.

a flexible approach

The ambisonic audio system was vital part of the user experience. The C3 team showed a flexible approach to the design changes throughout. We were very happy with their work
