The Challenge

There had previously been no clear communication between the  technical  teams  and site construction team; C3 was brought in to manage the production and liaise between teams as well as create schedule and design audio for this 7 thousand capacity event.

The Solution

C3 worked closely with Agora (sound company),  Media Pro and Highlights (lighting companies) to carefully design the audio via sound vision software, taking into account the design of the venue kept changing and we had to continually adjust the placement of a screen 34m wide and 24m tall  making it challenging to have even distribution of sound throughout venue. We coordinated with the lighting teams, video wall and  construction engineers to  create a structure to hold the video/ audio systems making sure all weights and Health and Saftey considerations were covered. The lighting and video design came through the use of 3d modelling software Vectorworks, Sketchup and AutoCAD. The use of these pieces of software enabled the  visualisation of the event to be held and adapted  in a panorama of changing plans by the architects and demands from the different teams. Overall the design was changed eight different times.

"Great capabilities for making these shows a success"

“It was great having John join our team for our festival events in Dubai, where he has shown great capabilities for making these shows a success. He quickly established a harmonic workflow with our existing team and became a valued add on. He showed great skills, a lot of knowledge and good nerves which helped a lot steering things into the right direction and making sure everyone can enjoy that happening to the fullest”
