MINECRAFT EXPERIENCE

The Challenge/Brief

John was brought in at short notice to replace the project’s first production manager and had to quickly learn on the job. This involved overseeing a complex technical process to ensure that the experience was delivered on time, within budget, and to the agreed-upon creative vision. This included managing schedules, international transportation of equipment, set, budgets, resources, personnel as well as coordinating with various international teams and stakeholders under a tight schedule.

The Solution/Result 

John acted as a central point of communication, ensuring the alignment and clarity on project goals throughout the production implementation and lifecycle. His experience enabled him to quickly understand the situation and learn on the job. His knowledge as a technical and production manager gave him the capacity to understand the key elements needed in a highly technical environment. He was able to preempt issues and draw the necessary information from the team in Canada to deliver the event to the spec required.
